About Fretdle

Fretdle is a daily puzzle for guitarists: one neck, one hidden scale and one set of pieces a day, the same for everyone.

It grew out of Scale Star, a game Killerkun made in 2018 that turned guitar scales into falling, Tetris-like pattern pieces. Fretdle keeps the best idea from it, that fitting shapes onto the neck makes the scale stick, and turns it into a short daily ritual you can share with friends.

The notes on the board are the real notes of a guitar in standard tuning, so what you learn here is where the scale actually lives on your instrument.
